84208In May, the Carolinas’ Kickin’ It Challenge – Unite in the Fight fundraiser brought together a dedicated group of over 1,000 community supporters, cancer survivors, and youth athletes in the fight against breast cancer. This annual weekend-long event featured a club-level youth soccer tournament hosted by the Discoveries Soccer Club at Manchester Meadows soccer complex in Rock Hill, SC. The weekend kicked off with a party at the Dairy Barn in Ft. Mill, SC, where guests enjoyed food, music, and a silent auction. Between the party and soccer tournament, the Kickin’ It Challenge raised more than $60,000, a portion of which benefits the Carolinas Breast Cancer Fund and will be designated to provide breast cancer diagnostic and screening resources for women in York County, SC.
