Bright lights, formal gowns, surprise performances and surprise announcements all led to the most successful Levine Children’s gala to date. The 5th Annual Levine Children’s Gala welcomed over 525 guests to Uptown Charlotte, raising a record $2+ million to benefit Levine Children’s Hospital. The fundraiser was made possible by the generous support of many community sponsors, most notably, presenting sponsor PNC. Held at the corner of 8th and Brevard on land owned by Levine Properties, the gala was attended by national and local celebrities, athletes, philanthropists, community leaders, representatives of Atrium Health, and numerous corporate supporters. Atrium Health President and CEO Gene Woods welcomed the sold-out crowd and was joined onstage by Dr. Stacy Nicholson, President of Atrium Health Levine Children’s, who shared the evening’s biggest news: Sandra and Leon Levine had committed $500,000 to the gala in support of Levine Children’s.

We offer a big thank you to the major corporate sponsors: PNC, Collins Aerospace, Speedway Children’s Charities, Barings, The Beck Group, Brighthouse Financial, Middleton Meyers, and Office Environments. We also want to offer another big thanks to the Gala Committee, who included the following: Candy and Darren Bing, Stephanie and Howard Bissell, Monica and Armando Chardiet, Amy and Alfred Dawson, Sherrard and John Georgius, Stephanie and David Gitlin, Mandy and Todd Houser, Emily and Tyler Johnson, Kara and Greg Olsen, Ana and Manuel Rey, Tiffany and Scott Smith, Amy and Martin Welton, and Joy and Hunter Widener.
