Young Kidney Krusaders prepare for a night of service in support of the Nephrology Center of Excellence at Levine Children’s. Guests at 5Church restaurant were treated to a special dining experience on March 28, when a group of young children – all kidney patients treated at Levine Children’s Hospital – stepped in to serve as their wait staff. The dinner featured a tasting of healthy features on the menu that were created specially to highlight a kidney-friendly plate. The guests of honor enjoyed a cranberry juice toast in honor of 5Church, longtime supporters of Levine Children’s. The restaurant, which hosts several fundraisers for the hospital each year, contributed all proceeds from the evening to support the hospital’s Pediatric Nephrology Center of Excellence.
