About the Professional Advisory Council 

The Professional Advisory Council (PAC) was established in 2019 to support Atrium Health Foundation’s planned giving program. The Council, which is currently made up of 15 distinguished professionals, offers financial and estate planning expertise to individuals who are interested in making a legacy gift to one of the nearly 300 charitable funds established at the Foundation. Each Council member serves a 3-year term and acts as an important advocate for Atrium Health throughout our communities. 

 

Introducing Professional Advisory Council Member: Kerri Mast, JD

Kerri Mast, JD, is currently the mPrior to joining Brown Brothers, Kerri worked at Foundation For The Carolinas and practiced law at Moore & Van Allen PLLC. She holds an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and received her Juris Doctor degree with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2003.

Throughout her career, Kerri has helped business owners and families of generational wealth evaluate their goals and ensure their planning is aligned with those goals. When working with families, Kerri is passionate about creating “an environment where families can engage in conversations about wealth, values, legacy and impact” and acknowledges philanthropy is an important part of those discussions.

Kerri and her clients have witnessed the impact Atrium Health is making within the community or have benefited firsthand from the medical care they received. Joining the Professional Advisory Council at Atrium Health Foundation was important for Kerri to better understand the philanthropic initiatives that support Atrium Health.
