Believe it or not, American Heart Month is right around the corner! On February 22, 2014 our committed community of supporters will walk, jog, and run the annual Cupid’s Cup 5K & Fitness Walk to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and raise funds to support cardiac rehabilitation programs across Atrium Health. We invite you to participate in the 10th annual Cupid’s Cup 5K / 1-Mile Walk!

Where: The course starts and finishes in close proximity to CMC-Myers Park, located on the corner of S. Kings Drive and East Boulevard.

Who: Calling all runners, joggers & walkers (all fitness levels encouraged to participate)

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in America today, claiming the lives of nearly one million men and women each year. This disease also accounts for almost six million hospitalizations, annually. Locally, Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute has the medical expertise, equipment and facilities to address this disease and provide both acute care as well as much needed preventive and rehabilitative care for patients in our community.

REGISTRATION:
Register on CupidsCup5K.com anytime through Wednesday, February 19, at 5 p.m. You may also register in-person at Charlotte Running Company, Dilworth location, on Thursday, February 20, and Friday, February 21. Finally, registration on race-day will begin at 6:30 a.m. at the race site.
