As our society and economy weather the storm of COVID-19, every one of our lives has been impacted in ways both profound and mundane. Sponsors of the Levine Children’s Gala and their employees are no different; they have demonstrated resilience and immense generosity amidst these unprecedented events affecting public health, domestic life and business. As philanthropy has remained a guiding force and beacon of hope within their workplaces, our Gala sponsors have honored their commitments to the 2020 LCH Gala, one of the premier annual fundraising events for the children’s hospital.

Led by LCH Gala Presenting Sponsor PNC, we are deeply grateful to the many corporate sponsors and attendees who have honored their commitments to Levine Children’s Hospital. Some longtime supporters of Levine Children’s Hospital and some new, each sponsor plays a vital role in improving health, elevating hope, and advancing healingfor all.

PNC

In recent years, PNC has become a trailblazer when it comes to community involvement and philanthropy in the Greater Charlotte region, which is why it came as no surprise when PNC led the charge as one of the first Levine Children’s Gala sponsors to donate their sponsorship for the 2020 Gala. A driving force behind PNC’s philanthropic commitments is Regional President Weston Andress, who joined PNC in September 2012. Under his leadership, PNC has been at the forefront of community giving, supporting the arts, education, and healthcare initiatives.

For six consecutive years, PNC has been committed to Levine Children’s Hospital as the presenting sponsor of the Levine Children’s Gala, which has raised millions of dollars in support for the hospital since its inception. Combined with additional gifts the company has made to support pediatric initiatives at Atrium Health, PNC has donated over $650,000 in charitable support for Atrium Health since 2013.

In addition to providing financial support for pediatric healthcare through his business, Andress volunteers his time, serving on the Board of Ambassadors for Levine Children’s Hospital.

Brighthouse Financial

From volunteering at Levine Children’s Hospital over the holidays by sorting presents and toys for Levine Children’s patients, to sponsoring the Levine Children’s Gala for five consecutive years, Brighthouse Financial and their employees have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing of our patients. Brighthouse Financial has generously honored their Gala commitment of $25,000 to support the most pressing medical needs at Levine Children’s Hospital.

Collins Aerospace

Collins Aerospace has been a supporter of the Levine Children’s Gala since the global aerospace and defense industry supplier first established as a new corporate entity arising out of the merger of UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins. Prior to the merger, Levine Children’s Hospital was the beneficiary of many significant gifts made by UTC Aerospace Systems through the Levine Children’s Gala and Hopebuilders 5K. Dave Gitlin, a former member of Atrium Health Foundation’s board of directors and President & Chief Executive Officer of Carrier (formerly President and COO of Collins Aerospace), continues to be an enthusiastic supporter of Atrium Health.  His wife, Stephanie, serves on the Levine Children’s Gala Committee and has been instrumental in the success of the annual event.

Most recently, Collin Aerospace honored their 2020 Levine Children’s Gala commitment as a gift to the Atrium Health Essential Needs Fund to support our COVID-19 response.

Genesys Global

Known for commercial and industrial lighting and their patented proprietary gHID™ technology, Genesys Global is a new donor to Levine Children’s Hospital and has graciously honored their $75,000 commitment to the 2020 Levine Children’s Gala as the VIP Reception Sponsor. We are also grateful to Tiffany Smith, wife of Genesys Global Chief Executive Officer, B. Scott Smith, for her service on the Levine Children’s Gala committee.

Office Environments

While serving Charlotte-based businesses for over 30 years, Office Environments has spent nearly two decades also serving the needs of Atrium Health’s pediatric patients. First, as a donor to Levine Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network in 2002, and later, as a sponsor of the Levine Children’s Gala for three consecutive years, Office Environments has responded generously to the needs of our pediatric patients time and time again.

Rodgers Builders

Atrium Health Foundation’s partnership with Rodgers Builders has spanned the past 30 years. During that time, Levine Children’s Hospital and Levine Cancer Institute have been honored beneficiaries of the construction company’s philanthropic giving. From their first gift of $1,200 to Children’s Miracle Network, the company’s lifetime support for Atrium totals more than $250,000, including their $25,000 commitment to the 2020 Levine Children’s Gala. Led by President & CEO Pat Rodgers, Rodgers has served as presenting sponsor of the Keep Pounding 5K since 2016 and returns this year as presenting sponsor to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the beloved community event.

The Beck Group

The Beck Group, a leader in architecture, construction, real estate development, and sustainable design and consulting, has generously honored their commitment to the 2020 Levine Children’s Gala as our Hospitality Sponsor. Their collective support for the Gala for the past three years, totaling more than $81,000, has made a tremendous impact on Levine Children’s Hospital’s ability to meet the needs of our most vulnerable pediatric patients.
