The Charlotte Knights hosted their 7th Annual Charlotte Knights Golf Classic on Monday, June 2 at TPC Piper Glen. Over 120 passionate supporters and devoted fans enjoyed a beautiful day of golf and fellowship, all while raising over $16,000 for Levine Children’s Hospital. On hand to personally thank the Knights was Ava Letourneau and family (shown above). At just 3 weeks old, Ava developed breathing problems and was rushed from her pediatrician’s office to Levine Children’s Hospital. After a month-long stay in the hospital, which included a tracheotomy and lots of love from mom, dad, and the passionate team at LCH, Ava was able to go home. Ava is now five years-old and is very active—and a BIG fan of Homer the Dragon! Thanks to Dan, Mike, Scott, Lindsey and everyone at the Charlotte Knights for their loyal support of Levine Children’s Hospital and kids like Ava!
