Since 1991, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have partnered with over 300 colleges and universities across the nation to participate in dance marathons to benefit partner hospitals. Locally, Charlotte’s colleges Dance Marathons benefits Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital.

Leading the charge in the Charlotte-area for many years has been the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, whose annual support and student participation in the University’s Charlotte Dance Marathon continues to grow, raising significant funds for Levine Children’s Hospital. In 2017, Belmont Abbey College, Lenoir-Rhyne University, and Davidson College have all joined in the movement, spearheading their own Dance Marathons to benefit CMN, locally (Levine Children’s Hospital).

The driving force behind each of the Charlotte’s area Dance Marathons is a dedicated group of students whose mission is to grow, inspire, and unite the community around a worthy cause – patients and families at Levine Children’s Hospital. Many people do not know that Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Levine Children’s Hospital, are charities that rely on significant philanthropic support of the community to provide the most cutting-edge and life-changing patient services, technology, equipment, and research to patients in the greater Charlotte region.

100% of proceeds from the Charlotte’s area Dance Marathons will stay local and benefit the areas of greatest need at Levine Children’s Hospital.
