In 2025, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital continued its commitment to delivering world-class care to children and families across the region. Fueled by the generosity of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) partners and donors — and inspired by the leadership of our 2025 CMN Champion, Aydan Ellis — thousands of patients benefited from care at Charlotte’s only “Best Children’s Hospital,” as recognized by U.S. News & World Report.

CMN support enables Levine Children’s to offer life-saving treatments, advanced technology, and compassionate programs when families need them most. This year, the dedication, creativity, and passion of our partners made an extraordinary impact. Here are just a few highlights from an unforgettable year of giving.

Walmart & Sam’s Club

Together, Walmart and Sam’s Club raised over $521,000 through their summer point-of-sale campaign, community grants, and volunteer efforts. Aydan celebrated his 13th birthday at his local Walmart in Rock Hill, where he was named an honorary associate and enjoyed a shopping spree to decorate his new teen bedroom.

Costco

Costco employees and customers helped raise more than $183,000 during their annual May campaign. Aydan also served as warehouse manager for a day at Costco Matthews, where he decorated cakes, made pizzas, and carried on the tradition of “pieing” multiple managers.

7-Eleven

This year marked the 34th Annual Miracle Tournament in Dayton, Ohio, where Aydan and his family joined other CMN Champions from across the country. Locally, 7-Eleven stores invited customers to donate at checkout, helping stores achieve record fundraising for Levine Children’s.

Dairy Queen

During Miracle Treat Day, Dairy Queen continued its longstanding tradition of serving up Blizzard treats to support local kids. The Hickory location even welcomed a special guest — Elvis himself — to bring extra fun and awareness.

Publix Super Markets

During a 10-day Miracle Coupon campaign, 31 local Publix Super Markets collectively raised over $101,000 for Levine Children’s. The Sherrills Ford location was also recognized as the top-fundraising Publix nationwide!

Great Clips

Great Clips raised nearly $62,000 during their October point-of-sale campaign for Levine Children’s. With 56 Charlotte-area salons selling coupon balloons, this was their most successful fundraising year to date.

Love’s Travel Stops

Six local Love’s Travel Stops raised a record $73,258 this year. To celebrate, patients at Levine Children’s were treated to a special visit from NASCAR drivers Todd Gilliland and Layne Riggs, fan favorites from Front Row Motorsports whose iconic cars are proudly sponsored by Love’s Travel Stops.

RE/MAX

RE/MAX continued its support of Levine Children’s through its year-round Miracle Home program, with agents making donations in honor of clients at every closing. In September, the RE/MAX Executive Golf Classic added $25,000 to benefit CMN Hospitals in the Carolinas.

Extra Life

Gamers across the Carolinas came together in November for Extra Life’s annual Game Day, participating in 24-hour online streams and in-person board game events. The community raised over $48,000 to help Levine Children’s patients “level up” their care.

At the center of these campaigns was Aydan, whose dedication, humor, and heart have made a lasting impact on our patients and community. We are deeply grateful for his advocacy and for sharing his story to inspire and support other children facing medical challenges. Read more about his journey at Levine Children’s.

Together, our CMN partners, supporters, and the thousands of donors who give at checkout are helping build a brighter, healthier future for every child treated at Levine Children’s Hospital.
