The Paula Takacs Foundation for Sarcoma Research raises money through the annual Sarcoma Stomp. The signature fundraising event provides significant funding to Levine Cancer Institute’s sarcoma research program, a partnership that began in 2012, as well as to Atrium Health's Levine Children’s Hospital.

The mantra "Save the Skin You’re In" was the driving force behind yet another successful Miles Against Melanoma 5K Run, 1-Mile Walk, and Kids’ Dash held on April 28. Miles Against Melanoma has become a beloved community tradition that raises hope, awareness, and funds for melanoma prevention, treatment, and related clinical research conducted by Levine Cancer Institute.

Two Cycling Events Benefit the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program

Carolinas Rehabilitation’s Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program (ASAP) through two unique cycling events, the Pines to the Palms, starting in Northeast Maine and concluding in Key West, Florida, and the annual Cycle to the Sea from Charlotte, North Carolina, to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are grateful to the many participants and donors who continue to support ASAP through these inspiring events.
