Charitable gifts made to the Taylor Soloff Memorial Endowment support essential patient care initiatives at Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute.

About Taylor Soloff and the Memorial Endowment:

A native of Arden, NC near Asheville, Taylor attended T.C. Roberson High School before receiving her degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. A proud Tar Heel, Taylor would go on to become a registered dietitian after receiving her Masters in Nutrition. She worked at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte for more than 7 years. In January 2014, Taylor was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, a form of ovarian cancer, which she battled for almost three years before passing away in November 2016. But Taylor never let her cancer define her. Rather, she approached each day with unparalleled strength, remarkable resilience and a bravery that was fierce and unrelenting.

She loved spending her time with those she loved, like her parents Margaret and David, her husband Jesse, her dog Cali, and her supportive circle of friends and colleagues. Her favorite things to do in Charlotte were go to the dog park with Cali, spend an afternoon at the brewery, and try new restaurants.

The Taylor Soloff Memorial Endowment was established to support patient care initiatives at the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte. Throughout her treatment, Taylor witnessed the incredible strength of her fellow cancer patients that fought the disease every day and money raised during this event will go towards initiatives that benefit the quality of life for local cancer patients and their caregivers.
