Every year at our annual “Hearts for Rehab” fundraiser, Carolinas Rehabilitation brings together over 200 guests for an event filled with notable guest speakers and the opportunity to hear life changing testimonies. Net proceeds from prior fundraisers have helped fund leading-edge equipment, adaptive sports programs, special needs funds, novel research and educational programs.
The Sixth Annual Hearts for Rehab Event, taking place on March 10, 2017, will focus on celebrating the programs that Carolinas Rehabilitation provides. Carolinas Rehabilitation treats all major sub-specialties of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Programs include brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer rehabilitation, stroke, pediatrics and general medical rehabilitation. Each program has a dedicated team of physicians, therapists and nurses who individualize care for each and every patient. Our staff is specialty trained to address the symptoms and deficits in order to create treatment options to restore quality to life.
Every day, Carolinas Rehabilitation delivers high-quality rehabilitative care for people of all ages who have suffered life-altering injuries and disease processes. As a not-for-profit hospital, Carolinas Rehabilitation relies on private philanthropic support to provide much of the additional personnel and equipment needed to develop and sustain innovative programs.
With your help, we can continue to provide special programs for our patients and their families to help restore quality to life.
