Other Causes

Use this donation form to support many diverse areas of care across Atrium Health that rely on philanthropy. See details below for other ways to give.

In an organization as broad as Atrium Health, there are numerous other causes that philanthropy supports. In this category, support can improve healthcare for patients in:

Facilities. Philanthropy supports initiatives at several Atrium Health facilities – including CMC-Mercy, Atrium Health Pineville and CHS University. Give now.

Hospice. Hospice is a special way of caring for people who are living with a life-limiting illness as well as their families and caregivers. At Hospice of Union County and Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, our goal is to help people live their last days as comfortably as possible, surrounded by family and friends. Rehabilitation. Philanthropy also supports programs at Carolinas Rehabilitation, which helps patients who have experienced traumatic injuries, strokes, amputations or other conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. One such program is the Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP), which is designed to challenge youth and adults with physical disabilities to develop skills that will lead to and enhance an active and productive lifestyle – one without barriers or limits. You may designate your gift to this program specifically, or make a general gift to support other patient resources available at Carolinas Rehabilitation.

Pastoral care. Donations support the work of hospital chaplains who tend to patients’ emotional and spiritual needs through individual contacts and worship services.

Sports medicine. Atrium Health’s sports medicine program helps athletes from Little League to the National Football League receive treatment and prevent injuries.
