Unite for our female heroes and the fight against ovarian cancer! On Sunday, April 14 (12PM – midnight) enjoy a day of live music, food, and silent auction at The Comet Grill located at 2224 Park Road. All proceeds benefit the Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Fund at Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute. Now in its seventh year, the event is organized by family and friends of the late Nancy Lanik who battled ovarian cancer. As an inaugural member of the Teal Magnolias ovarian cancer support group, Nancy raised awareness and funds in hopes of progressing toward an early detection screening for ovarian cancer.
