This April, an incredible group of dedicated athletes will journey from the Piedmont to the coast of South Carolina, to raise funds and awareness for the Adaptive Sports and Adventure Program at Carolinas HealthCare System’s Carolinas Rehabilitation. Participants using hand-cycles, tandem bikes and road bikes alike will ride the 180-mile course to North Myrtle Beach in support of ASAP, which exists to provide competitive and recreational adaptive sport opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities in our community, and to support and promote the achievement of personal goals of adaptive athletes.
