Thanks to generous community support, Norsan Media’s 10th Annual “Milagros Para Los Niños” Radiothon raised over $127,000 for Levine Children’s Hospital. This year’s radiothon marked a special milestone as it signified 10 years of partnership with Norsan Media. Broadcast live from Norsan Media’s affiliate stations La Raza 106.1 FM, Hola News, Latina 102.3 FM, Estrella TV and La Zeta 107.5 FM, listeners were moved by stories of hope shared by families of former and current patients from the Hispanic community.

Atrium Health pediatric cardiologist Dr. Gonzalo Alberto Wallis (pictured right) also made an appearance, encouraging listeners to contribute. As the medical director of the pediatric heart failure and transplant program at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, Dr. Wallis witnesses firsthand the significant impact philanthropy makes within our communities.

Over the past decade, the “Milagros Para Los Niños” Radiothon has raised nearly $1 million to help fund vital medical equipment, healthcare services, clinical research and patient and family support programs, to improve the health and well-being of children treated at Levine Children’s Hospital. “We are incredibly fortunate to have the continued support of Norsan Media,” shared Callie Dobbins, Vice President and Facility Executive of Levine Children’s Hospital and Jeff Gordon Children’s Center. “Despite the challenges many have faced this year, our corporate partner and community at-large have come together at a critical time to elevate hope for our pediatric patients. It’s because of strong partnerships like this that Levine Children’s is able to provide world-class care for children in our community.”
