By late 2017, it was clear that little Kade needed a big miracle. At only 3 months-old, Kade was in severe heart failure; the undeveloped left side of his heart was unable to support his tiny body. Kade, who was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, was put on an organ transplant list.

After months of waiting, Kade underwent surgery at Levine Children’s Hospital to receive his new heart and returned home in early April. His parents are overjoyed. “Thank you to all of you. We finally have our miracle at home!” says Kade’s mom, Kimberli.
